West Platte is 6-1 against Bishop LeBlond since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bluejays will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Bishop LeBlond took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Platte, who comes in off a win.

West Platte will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating North Platte, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bluejays came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers on Thursday, sneaking past 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bluejays.

Sophie Grier spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Maddie Cline, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Bishop LeBlond lost 10-4 to St. Michael the Archangel on Monday.

Bishop LeBlond now has a losing record of 3-4. As for West Platte, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went West Platte's way against Bishop LeBlond when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as West Platte made off with a 17-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
