Softball Recap: Leedey Drops Season-High Score on Vici

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leedey). Everything went their way against the Vici Indians on Thursday as they made off with a 20-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bison, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Leedey has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Vici, they dropped their record down to 1-24 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road.

Leedey wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Vici on the 25th. The Indians does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
