Softball Recap: Vanoss Comes Up Short

Vanoss lost against Hartshorne back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolves fell just short of the Miners by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by just one run.

Vanoss has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6-1 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Hartshorne, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vanoss will welcome Okemah at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hartshorne, they will square off against Coalgate at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
