Chattahoochee County and Dooly County are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Chattahoochee County Panthers will take on the Dooly County Bobcats at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Chattahoochee County's tournament run continued when they took on Crawford County on Friday. Chattahoochee County fell just short of Crawford County by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Dooly County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 5-3. Five seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dodany Mendez (2), Julian Garcia, Belber Morales, and Jesus Vega.

Dooly County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chattahoochee County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Chattahoochee County beat Dooly County by a goal in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chattahoochee County since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
