Basketball Game Preview: Chester Clippers vs. Interboro Buccaneers

The Chester Clippers are taking a road trip to take on the Interboro Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chester will be strutting in after a victory while Interboro will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Chester took their match with ease, bagging a 75-19 win over Chichester. That looming 75-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Clippers yet this season.

Chester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Imani Dorsey, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 steals. With that strong performance, Dorsey is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Dennis, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals.

Meanwhile, Interboro was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 61-12 loss at the hands of Garnet Valley. The Buccaneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-9.

Chester's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.0 points per game. As for Interboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
