Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Central City). They blew past the Fillmore Central Panthers 15-4 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bison, who have now won eight matchups by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 Payton Burbach made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Central City got a  massive  performance out of  Addie Burbach, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  Burbach has posted since back in August.  Sophie Moser also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Central City  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .690. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  win was  the fourth in a row for Central City, bringing their record up to 10-2. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fillmore Central,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-15.
 Coming up, Central City will face off against Aurora at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Fillmore Central, they will take on Polk County at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
