The El Rancho Dons won the last time they faced the Charter Oak Chargers, and things went their way on Thursday too. El Rancho took down Charter Oak 52-35.
El Rancho was led to victory by Emma Gonzalez and Emery Riker. Gonzalez scored 15 points along with 8 steals, while Riker dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. Riker has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Carissa Basurto, who scored 2 points along with 8 steals and 5 assists.
El Rancho is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Charter Oak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
