Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lowndes). They never let the Valdosta Wildcats get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting Valdosta from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Joseph Rudolphi led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Lowndes' victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Valdosta, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Lowndes will square off against Tift County at 7:30 p.m. on March 4th. As for Valdosta, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Dodge County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
