Football Game Preview: Tazewell Bulldogs vs. Marion Scarlet Hurricanes + How To Watch

The Tazewell Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tazewell will be strutting in after a win while Marion will be coming in after a loss.

Tazewell is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Grundy 35-20 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

Walker Patterson was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 101 yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Marion came up short against Lee on Friday, falling 28-7.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Tazewell, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Tazewell took their win against Marion when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 31-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
