Football Recap: Central Skates Past Kenyon-Wanamingo with Ease

After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Central brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They claimed a resounding 42-8 win over the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Knights are ranked 250th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Central back to even at 3-3. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Central will challenge Randolph/Fit Academy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, they will take on St. Charles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Fighting Saints' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
