Centralia put their dominant defense on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Troy Trojans a 16-0 shutout. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Centralia pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 36.9 points this season. As for Troy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Centralia will host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 10.1, the Cyclones 6) so any points scored will be well earned.
