Soccer Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Vista PEAK Prep after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Denver South Ravens by a score of 2-1. Vista PEAK Prep were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Denver South apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Vista PEAK Prep has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4-1 record this season. As for Denver South, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vista PEAK Prep will welcome Aurora Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vista PEAK Prep will be up against Aurora Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.64 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Denver South, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Denver East at 6:30 p.m.
