Basketball Recap: Lincoln Gets the Win

Lincoln won the last time they faced Rutherford, and Kingsley Mutanga did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lincoln Trojans enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over the Rutherford Rams on Friday thanks in part to Mutanga, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 26 points and five rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Turral, who posted 12 points. Turral is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Lincoln's record now sits at 10-4. As for Rutherford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-47 loss against Marianna on the 28th. As for Rutherford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-47 defeat against Crestview on the 28th.
