Cardinal Gibbons extended their home winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Player #9. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Cary Imps with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Player #9, who had ten digs and four aces. Player #9 is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cardinal Gibbons took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-4, 25-11.

Cardinal Gibbons' win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Cary, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
