The Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls will head out on the road to square off against the Archbishop Carroll Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Archbishop Ryan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Archbishop Ryan posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They really took it to Little Flower Catholic for Girls for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-16 victory at home. The team ran away with 37 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Meanwhile, Archbishop Carroll's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Sunday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 58-38 loss at the hands of Perkiomen Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Archbishop Carroll has suffered since December 8, 2023.
Archbishop Ryan's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Archbishop Carroll, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Archbishop Ryan was taken down by Archbishop Carroll 60-29 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Archbishop Ryan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
