Recap: Cumberland Valley Eagles vs. Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils
The Cumberland Valley Eagles lost against the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Cumberland Valley suffered a tough 48-28 defeat at the hands of Mt. Lebanon. Cumberland Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-15.
Despite the loss, Cumberland Valley had strong showings from Bella Mcintire, who scored eight points along with six rebounds, and Payton Basehore, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Basehore has scored all season.
Cumberland Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Mt. Lebanon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
Cumberland Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mt. Lebanon also has no future games currently scheduled.
