It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pioneer had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-33 victory over the Marina Vikings. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Pioneer got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Leanne Castro out in front who on her way to 12 points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds Castro has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Aryanna Reyes, who earned nine points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Despite the loss, Marina still got an impressive performance from Anaya Rivera, who scored ten points and three steals. Rivera continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Marina, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-12.

Pioneer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-48 loss against Burroughs on the 19th. Marina does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
