Morgan County waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Pike County Pirates by a score of 10-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-11 on Tuesday.

Morgan County's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Pike County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.

Morgan County and Pike County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Bulldogs will challenge Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (77 vs. 247). Meanwhile, Pike County (ranked 32nd) will meet Rutland (ranked 363rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
