Football Recap: Worthington Comes Up Short

Worthington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Austin Packers.

Worthington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Austin, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worthington will host Albert Lea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Austin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
