Baseball Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss

Clarke Central lost against Winder-Barrow last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gladiators came up short against the Bulldoggs, falling 7-1. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clarke Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimmy Bishop, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Clarke Central now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Winder-Barrow, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarke Central will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Loganville at 5:55 p.m. on the 14th. As for Winder-Barrow, they will take on Mill Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
