Rockmart proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sonoraville Phoenix, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets, who have now won five matches in a row.

Rockmart's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Sonoraville, they moved to 19-5 with that defeat, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Rockmart will head out to challenge Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sonoraville, they will host Adairsville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
