Basketball Recap: Line Mountain Eagles vs. Susquenita Blackhawks

After flying high against Shenandoah Valley last Wednesday, Line Mountain came back down to earth. The Line Mountain Eagles took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Susquenita Blackhawks on Monday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Leading Susquenita to victory were Kaydon Brandt and Ayahna Fleisher. Brandt went 6 of 9 on her way to 13 points along with five assists and four steals, while Fleisher posted ten points and four steals. That's the most steals Brandt has posted since back in January.

Line Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Susquenita, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Line Mountain will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Upper Dauphin Area at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Susquenita, they will venture away from home to square off against Pequea Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
