Carrollton never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Polo Panthers as they made off with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Carrollton pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Polo, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Carrollton will head out to square off against Lawson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Polo, they will be playing at home against Putnam County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
