Bellevue put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 33-28 W against the Alburnett Pirates. This was payback for the Comets, who suffered a 38-27 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bellevue's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Alburnett, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Bellevue will welcome Tipton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Alburnett, they will take on Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
