Football Game Preview: Barlow Bruins vs. Sandy Pioneers + How To Watch

The Barlow Bruins will challenge the Sandy Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barlow has given up an average of 35 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Barlow is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-0 loss at the hands of Central Catholic. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bruins haven't been shut out since back in September.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Sandy against Clackamas on Friday as the squad secured a 39-6 win. Considering the Pioneers have won three contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sandy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Barlow, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Barlow ended up a good deal behind Sandy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, losing 28-13. Thankfully for the Bruins, Mataio Olomua (who rushed for 185 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
