Volleyball Recap: Wheeler Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wheeler had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the North Cobb Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wheeler not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Cobb between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Francis Santos paced Wheeler's offense, picking up eight kills. Santos got some help from Albert Hein and his 20 assists. Jordan Gardenhire and Augusto Silva kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Wheeler's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Cobb, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Wheeler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Denmark on the 18th. As for North Cobb, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Putnam County on the 18th.
