Recap: Woodlake Tigers vs. Lindsay Cardinals

The Woodlake Tigers lost against the Lindsay Cardinals two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Woodlake ended up on the wrong side of a rough 45-20 walloping at the hands of Lindsay. Woodlake has struggled against Lindsay recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Woodlake got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Mia Navarro and Abagail Kelly, who each put up six points.

Lindsay's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brianna Jara led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Adaliya Turner, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Woodlake's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Lindsay, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Woodlake will head out on the road to face off against Strathmore at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Strathmore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lindsay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Corcoran at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Corcoran will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Lindsay surely won't give up without a fight.
