Soccer Game Preview: Tennyson vs. San Leandro

The Tennyson Lancers will head out to take on the San Leandro Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Tennyson turned things around against Arroyo on Tuesday. They never let the Dons get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, San Leandro earned a 2-0 victory over Hayward on Tuesday. San Leandro haven't had any issues with Hayward recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

San Leandro's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Tennyson, their win bumped their record up to 4-9-3.

Tennyson might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from San Leandro when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Lancers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
