Football Recap: Lafayette Jefferson's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Lafayette Jefferson won the last time they faced Muncie Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Bronchos took their game with ease, bagging a 55-21 win over the Bearcats. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bronchos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Bearcats are ranked 108th).

One reason for the win was Lafayette Jefferson's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Aaden Aytch was the leader with 2.5. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 15. Another thorn in Muncie Central's side was Ka'Vion Campbell-Walker, who forced two fumbles and made 19 total tackles.
