Soccer Game Preview: Cottonwood Classical Prep vs. Bosque

Cottonwood Classical Prep is 0-3 against Bosque since September of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Coyotes are taking a road trip to challenge the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cottonwood Classical Prep managed to keep up with Rehoboth Christian until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Coyotes lost 3-0 to the Lynx.

Meanwhile, Bosque fell victim to East Mountain and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 1-0. Bosque fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against East Mountain since Thursday.

Bosque's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 8-6-1. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

Cottonwood Classical Prep couldn't quite get it done against Bosque in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
