Softball Recap: Lowndes Comes Up Short

After flying high against Peach County last Friday, Lowndes came back down to earth. The Vikings fell just short of the Chaparral Wolverines by a score of 8-7 on Friday.

Lowndes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Chaparral, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lowndes has already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Mead on the 22nd. As for Chaparral, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-4 victory against Grand Junction on the 22nd.
