            San Juan Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodrow Wilson Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings  (they are ranked 219th, while the Bruins are ranked 73rd).
San Juan Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Woodrow Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-2.
 San Juan Hills will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Capistrano Valley at 5:15  p.m.  on January 7, 2025. Woodrow Wilson will also get a bit of a break before their next  match: they'll face off against Mission Viejo at 12:00  p.m.  on January 3, 2025. Mission Viejo has yet to allow a single  goal through four  contests this season, a streak Woodrow Wilson will look to end.
