Baseball Recap: Randolph-Clay Comes Up Short

Randolph-Clay extended their losing streak to 15 on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-17. They came up short against the Terrell County Greenwave, falling 17-8. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 20-5 to the Greenwave when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Terrell County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-13. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.7 runs over those games.

For Terrell County's part, Damarion Huckaby was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Huckaby has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was WyCavion Buchanan, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

While Randolph-Clay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
