After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Storm Lake, Le Mars was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sioux City West Wolverines a 10-0 shutout. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Le Mars has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Sioux City West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Le Mars has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on the 1st. As for Sioux City West, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
