After losing to Dobbins-Randolph Vo-Tech the last time they met, West Philadelphia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The West Philadelphia Speedboys breezed by the Dobbins-Randolph Vo-Tech Mustangs to the tune of 55-26 on Wednesday. The Speedboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 28 points or more this season.

West Philadelphia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kashay Ryder out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. Ryder is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Badji Tall, who posted eight points in addition to 14 boards and four steals.

West Philadelphia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

West Philadelphia's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Philadelphia will welcome Overbrook at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Dobbins-Randolph Vo-Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on January 15th.
