Soccer Recap: Pinole Valley Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, Pinole Valley rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Bentley Phoenix.

Pinole Valley hit Bentley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jayla Quintanilla, Chantelle Tejada, and Giselle Morales-Cortez.

Pinole Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Bentley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Pinole Valley will head out on the road to face off against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bentley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
