Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 19-0 to the Davenport North Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Thursday.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 4-28. As for Davenport North, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-20 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will challenge Camanche at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Davenport North, they will venture away from home to take on Dubuque Senior at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
