Baseball Recap: Paulding County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rome last Monday, Paulding County came back down to earth. The Paulding County Patriots came up short against the East Paulding Raiders on Thursday, falling 9-3. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Paulding County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Benitez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Paulding County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for East Paulding, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Paulding County will face off against Osborne at 5:55 p.m. on March 14th. As for East Paulding, they will challenge Alexander at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
