After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sandia Prep, Cottonwood Classical Prep was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Rehoboth Christian Lynx 1-0. This was a revenge game for Cottonwood Classical Prep: when they faced off against Rehoboth Christian two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Cottonwood Classical Prep's one-goal win came courtesy of Lynex Locke, who's now up to three this season.

The victory got Cottonwood Classical Prep back to even at 9-9-1. As for Rehoboth Christian, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Coming up, Cottonwood Classical Prep will head out to challenge Academy for Technology and The Classics at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. Academy for Technology and The Classics will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cottonwood Classical Prep surely won't give up without a fight. Rehoboth Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
