Soccer Game Preview: Capistrano Valley Christian vs. Legacy College Prep

The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Legacy College Prep Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Capistrano Valley Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

On Wednesday, Capistrano Valley Christian narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past St. Margaret's 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Malea Salcedo and Savannah Sharp scored both of Capistrano Valley Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Legacy College Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 6-0 to Avalon back in December of 2024.

Capistrano Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-4-2. As for Legacy College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
