Softball Recap: McIntosh Comes Up Short

McIntosh and South Paulding squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but McIntosh had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-7 on Tuesday.

Grace Aerstin made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one stolen base. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season.

This is the second loss in a row for McIntosh and nudges their season record down to 15-15. As for South Paulding, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.

As of now, neither McIntosh nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
