Baseball Game Preview: Minooka Indians vs. Oswego Panthers

For the second straight game, Minooka will face off against Oswego. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Minooka's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Oswego's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Minooka lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Oswego, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Indians blew past the Panthers 8-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Minooka is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Oswego, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
