Baseball Game Preview: Perry Panthers vs. Ware County Gators + How To Watch

Perry is 0-3 against Ware County since March of 2025 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Gators at 5:00 p.m. Perry has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Perry managed to slip by Wayne County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 17-1 to the Yellow Jackets on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Yellow Jackets since May 1, 2023.

Meanwhile, Ware County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past the Phoenix 16-1.

The victory got Ware County back to even at 7-7. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Perry couldn't quite finish off Ware County when the teams last played back in March of 2025 and fell 4-2. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
