Baseball Recap: Lyman Memorial Comes Up Short

After flying high against Windham RVT on Tuesday, Lyman Memorial came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Coventry Patriots on Thursday, falling 16-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Lyman Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Coventry, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Looking ahead, Lyman Memorial will challenge Wheeler at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coventry, they have already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Woodstock Academy on the 22nd.
