Recap: Vacaville Bulldogs vs. De Anza Dons
The Vacaville Bulldogs had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past De Anza with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 56-37. The win was just what Vacaville needed coming off of a 55-28 loss in their prior contest.
Vacaville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maggie Lopez, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Lula Kifle, who scored 16 points.
Vacaville's victory bumped their record up to 1-4. As for De Anza, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vacaville will take on Dixon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for De Anza, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ygnacio Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ygnacio Valley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
