Orcutt Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Elizabeth Johnson. The Spartans claimed a resounding 68-5 win over the Santa Barbara Dons thanks in part to Johnson, who went 6-for-8 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last 29 games she's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Ella Edwards, who posted eight points and six steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Orcutt Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Santa Barbara, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Orcutt Academy will take on Westlake at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Barbara, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-19 defeat against San Marcos on the 9th.
