Basketball Game Preview: Garces Memorial Rams vs. Templeton Eagles

The Garces Memorial Rams will face off against the Templeton Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Garces Memorial will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Garces Memorial is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Porterville on Saturday as they made off with a 70-48 victory. With that win, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.

Garces Memorial found their leader in freshman Emma Maduena, who went 9-for-14 en route to 23 points. Thanks to that strong game, Maduena now owns an excellent 49% field goal percentage. Aaliyah Liggons was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on her way to 15 points.

Meanwhile, Templeton didn't have too much trouble with Coastal Christian last Friday as they won 50-35.

Templeton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Garces Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
