Softball Recap: Mangum Find Success

Mangum owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They came out on top against Granite by a score of 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with Granite: they've now won three in a row.

Aubrey Lowe and Destiny Carrier did most of the damage at the plate: Lowe went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Carrier went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Mangum now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Granite, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Mangum wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-0 win against Duke on the 14th. As for Granite, they will challenge Hammon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
