Softball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lincoln County and Trion squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lincoln County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lincoln County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Grace Moon, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Trion, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

While Lincoln County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
