Baseball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Takes a Loss

Southeast Whitfield County lost against Woodland last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders lost 10-1 to the Woodland Wildcats. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southeast Whitfield County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Townsend, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Woodland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

While Southeast Whitfield County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
